The high-footed, press-molded bottom lifts the tumbler off the table, giving a 'floating' impression. The outside surface is mindfully handpainted with underglazes and glossy glazes in an abstract, graphic composition, with a glossy glaze micro-composition. A satin clear glaze completes the final outer finish.
Glossy clear glaze lines the inside, giving it a durable, foodsafe and long-lasting finish. The foot ring and all other unglazed surface areas are sealed with Liquid Quartz ceramic sealer - a waterproof and stain-resistant finish.
This tumbler is foodsafe and microwave safe. It can also be put in the dishwasher, although handwashing handmade ceramics is always recommended.
** This tumbler is a 'second' (slightly flawed) and offered at a discount. There are small cosmetic glaze flaws (pictured close up), which do not affect its strength or durability.
